History & Mythology

Carina is a prominent constellation in the southern sky, and is home to the 2nd brightest star in the night sky called Canopus. In Greek mythology, Carina represents the hull of the mythical ship Argo. Depicted in the 18th century by French astronomer Nicolas Louis De Lacaille.
